Review by hotel critic
During my five-night stay at B&B Herenhuis, I found the property to be a solid base for exploring the charming towns of Bruges and Ghent. The spacious room featured a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom, allowing for restful nights after each day of discovery. What stood out was the wellness area, particularly the private sauna, which offered a soothing retreat during my downtime. I cherished moments spent in the covered outdoor jacuzzi, surrounded by serene landscapes. It was a simple yet effective way to unwind after visits to historical sites. Breakfast was well-presented and made with fresh ingredients, served in a minimalistic area that further enhanced the calm atmosphere. The courteous staff contributed to this sense of tranquility, ensuring that my needs were met without intruding on my experience. Although the town has its limitations in terms of local attractions, the easy access to other destinations compensates for this. B&B Herenhuis serves as a reliable option for travelers seeking a peaceful setting combined with quality amenities, all at a reasonable price. I left feeling rejuvenated, having enjoyed both the relaxation and the adventure offered in this beautiful part of Belgium.
